The Haut Taravo is not well known, here you will discover fabulous green landscapes. Numerous chestnut trees allow free range pork breeding and a production of chestnut flour. Forests are great in summertime as well as in wintertime with their holm and cork oaks and lovely streams. This region is a real paradise for hunters and fishermen.

Hiking

•The gîte of Guitera-les-Bains is a stopping point on the Mare a Mare Centre path which joins Ghisonaccia to Porticcio in a week’s walk (orange marks) ;
