The gîte of Guitera-les-Bains is open almost all year long (only closed one month over the winter) and offers 20 beds in two different locations.
The oldest part of the gîte, fabricated with grey granite stones was built before the cooked pork meat workshop. The place is cool and friendly with a shared room downstairs (open plan kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, radio, books available and also the possibility of washing your clothes or hiring sheets with an extra contribution) and toilets ; upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms with 4 bunk beds, 2 folding beds, 2 washbasins, 1 shower. Over the restaurant, there is a dormitory with 10 bunk beds (one of them is a double bed), 2 washbasins, 1 shower, the toilets are on the landing.
For
one bed occupied you will pay 15€, camping is allowed
in the meadow (5 € per person with access to the gîte’s
amenities). But we strongly advise you to take the bed with half-board
(35€ per person). First of all, you will not be able to
find fresh supplies in Guitera-les-Bains and secondly you will be
able to enjoy the cook’s tasty specialities in a friendly
atmosphere.
