In the heart of Corsica, Guitera Village is located in the Haut Taravo Valley (South Corsica), half way between the Fiumorbu plain on the East side and the Ajaccio plain on the West side. This small mountain village (620 meters altitude) is renowned for its production of delicatessen still traditionally home-made. The main activities are agriculture and pork and cow breeding.

Guitera-les-Bains is composed of two different hamlets :
• Vutera (corsican name), 4 kilometers up from the Baths

where you can find the Auberge
Chez Paul-Antoine and the village hall. The Auberge
Chez Paul-Antoine is just after the small stone bridge when you
get to the village.

• the Baths, by the Taravo river, where the hot springs of the ancient spa still flow. You can still see the old water-cure establishment and closed hotels.
You will be welcome there at the bar and petrol station which also sells cigarettes. The post office is right across the street.
